prices tend to be higher than big box stores but the employees are much friendlier and more helpful, and it's nice to not have to traipse through a huge store to get three items. also I like supporting locally owned businesses because the money stays in my community. their selection is surprisingly diverse for how small the store is. can't recommend Brewers enough, I always shop here first before heading to a big box store.
Who all remembers the small hardware stores that somehow, despite its size, always had what you needed? Unless you want to choose from 20 different toilets, don't pass up your local hardware store to get to a big orange box or to help pay Jimmy Johnson's salary.
Super nice staff! Excellent place for your home brewing needs too! The owner took time to answer all my questions and was extremely nice! They have all your hardware needs! Nice very clean store.
Hey I go the big places sometimes too, but if i need to replace a spigot (does anyone call them that anymore?) or need a round piece of cork or a new plug for an old aluminum trough, I go to a place like this.
I really appreciate this place. I had a bathtub faucet that would not shut off. It was a complicated repair, but they really helped me thru it. Thank you very much. Like the other reviewer, I like to support local business. I generally do not work on Sunday, but this was kind of an emergency. Thanks again.
My first visit was today. I needed keys made and had gone to Home Depot close to my house. First ones didn't work. Went back and had them remade. They didn't work either. So I went to Brewers True Value and Al took good care of me. Keys worked perfectly. All also helped me with some other stuff. It was a great experience and since I am not a man hardware stores are not really my thing. Dave the owner was very helpful also
