Wow...where to begin...first off, they don't even deserve one star. They wanted me to sign a contract that was a BLANK piece of paper. The sales lady had an attitude and spoke down to me as if I was stupid when I asked questions pertaining to my rental and more specifically about her charging an additional $36 for some additional driving insurance that she either couldn't/wouldn't explain. I declined this additional charge and was very rudely informed i couldnt because i had an additional driver and that "it was only $36". I verbalized that I felt this was a shady way to conduct business and that I felt she had an attitude with me, to which she responded I could call customer service if I wanted to. I was handed keys and when I asked where the vehicle was she responded "if you click the key it will tell you". So I walked to the parking lot clicking the key fob and looking for break lights to light up to try to figure out which vehicle could possibly be mine. It was dirty with mud on the sides but at this point I didn't care. No one walked me out to inspect the car or anything. I will NEVER use a budget rental after this experience. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by someone for no absolute reason.
These three stars are for Steven and his great customer service today. We had rented an intermediate-size car, but all they had was a small car. He offered to upgrade us to a large car (a step above the intermediate), but that car wasn't ready yet. So we were able to take the small car until the bigger car was available. The small car was too small and the big car still wasn't available by the time we needed to leave for our trip, so we ended up coming back and getting a full refund. Anyway, if it weren't for Steven's great service, this would be a one-star review.
