I am a urologist, living across the country from my family.
With only 2 other patients in the waiting room, right after the place opened, it still took 45 minutes for the urologist to come in and say in 2 minutes we needed a CT scan. Then we waited another 45 minutes so they could check with our insurance to cover the CT scan. After the 3 minute CT scan, I then I had to ask someone why we were still waiting after 2 hours and no one could tell us what was wrong. Was told it would take 3-5 days for results. That's terrible. My wife is in pain! Do something or go work at McDonalds, because you sure don't belong in a Dr's office!
Had an embarrassing and scary urological condition for years while I was seeing Itoku. He never really seemed to care, and it took literal years before he would do any sort of diagnostic testing. Went to another doctor (Matthew Spellman who is wonderful) who promptly ordered an MRI, found the source of my issue, and performed a surgery that relieved me of my symptoms. Seriously, don't use Itoku for anything relating to your health.
tl, dr: Waste of time. Unprofessional, unhelpful, had no clue what they were doing. Better to go to the ER.
Very good doctor. Dr. Itoku did the right thing to save my life. He is the most positive doctors I have ever met, very pleasant, and professional. I would recommend him to anyone! Thank you Dr Itoku
Rude and condescending. He made my wife and I feel like we were wasting his time. Don't trust him with your health. He doesn't care about you or your health and we'll being. He visited me in the hospital and when I went for a follow up visit, he barely knew who I was. It seems his goal was to pacify me and get on to the next victim. Don't waste your time! There are plenty of very good urologist out there
Dr. Itoku is taking care of my father. He provided prompt and comprehensive information. My parents both feel very comfortable in his hands.
